Five easy steps to a better edge

From your kitchen drawer or tool bag to our workshop and back again. Here is exactly what to expect.

Pack your blades safely

Wrap each edge and secure your blades so nothing shifts in transit. It takes a few minutes with materials you already have at home. Full packing guide is just below.

Place your contact info in the package

Be sure you have added your contact information and that the address is correct!  We'll use this address to ship your sharpened blades back to you.

We ship with USPS

 We ship across the USA via USPS.  We strongly suggest picking up some USPS shipping labels or the plastic packets you can slide your plain paper shipping labels into.

Send them our way

Address your package to our workshop and hand it to your mail carrier. That is the last thing you have to do.

We sharpen and inspect

Every blade is sharpened by hand and inspected for a true, lasting edge. If anything needs a closer look, like a deep chip or a damaged tip, we reach out before doing any extra work.

Back to you, razor-sharp

We repackage your blades with the same care you sent them in and ship them straight back, ready to work. Service you can count on, delivered to your door.

How to pack your blades safely

A few simple habits keep your blades secure, your carrier safe, and your edges protected. Here is the short version.

Do This  Recommended

  • Wrap each blade edge in cardboard or several layers of thick paper, then tape it closed.
  • Bundle blades together so they cannot slide around or poke through.
  • Use a sturdy box with padding on all sides. Crumpled paper or bubble wrap works well.
  • Include a note with your name, phone, email, and a list of what you are sending.
  • Seal the box well and label it clearly with our address.


Don't Do This  avoid

  • Shipping blades loose or unwrapped where edges can cut through.
  • Using a thin envelope or flimsy mailer for heavy or long blades.
  • Forgetting your contact info, which slows down getting your blades back.
  • Packing so tight the blades press against each other without padding.



Include this note with your shipment:

 

  • Your name and the best phone AND email to reach you
  • What you are sending: a quick list and count of blades
  • Any special requests: chips, a specific bevel, or blades to handle with extra care
  • Your return address so we know where to send them back
